Validation of POD24 as a robust early predictor of poor survival in follicular lymphoma
Dr. Carla Casulo
Pooled analysis of 13 studies (5,225 patients) validated disease progression within 24 months of frontline chemoimmunotherapy (POD24) as a robust early predictor of poor survival in follicular lymphoma. In a time-dependent Cox model and in 24-months landmark analysis of surviving patients, POD24 was associated with poor subsequent OS (HR 4.85 and HR 3.06, respectively). Risk factors for POD24 included male gender, poor performance status, high risk FLIPI score, and elevated β2-microglobulin level.
