Two-year follow-up of ciltacabtagene autoleucel for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma

The phase 1b-2 CARTITUDE-1 trial evaluates safety and efficacy of ciltacabtagene autoleucel (cilta-cel) in heavily pretreated patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. Two years after inclusion of the last patient, at a median follow-up of 28 months, patients treated with cilta-cel maintained deep and durable responses, observed in both standard and high-risk subgroups. Median duration of response was not estimable. Median PFS and OS were not reached. The risk/benefit profile of cilta-cel was favorable.
