Treatment-free survival after nivolumab with or without relatlimab for advanced melanoma in RELATIVITY-047

Treatment-free survival (TFS) is time spent till next systemic anticancer therapy or death. The multinational phase 2-3 RELATIVITY-047 trial randomized patients with advanced melanoma to nivolumab plus relatlimab or nivolumab alone. Post hoc analysis of the trial found that, at 48 months after randomization, TFS was 2.9 months longer with the combination than with nivolumab alone, whereas TFS without grade ≥ 3 treatment-related adverse events was 2.6 months longer with the combination than with nivolumab alone.
