Selpercatinib is a first-in-class selective and potent CNS-active RET kinase inhibitor. The multinational phase 1-2 LIBRETTO-001 trial evaluated selpercatinib for RET fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer. First results have been published in 2020. Updated results of the study show that selpercatinib continued to demonstrate durable and robust responses, including intracranial activity, in previously treated and treatment-naïve patients with RET fusion-positive NSCLC.
