A nationwide retrospective cohort study in France evaluated the survival impact of comedications at the start of first-line pembrolizumab for advanced non-small cell lung cancer. In this study of 41,529 patients with aNSCLC, after adjustment for several confounders, exposure to antibiotics (with the exception of macrolide and penicillin), to high doses of steroids, and to proton pump inhibitors at the beginning of pembrolizumab treatment was associated with worse overall survival.
