A multicenter retrospective real-world study in China evaluated neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy versus neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by surgery versus concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) for limited-stage small cell lung cancer(LS-SCLC). Pathological complete response rate and major pathological response rate were higher after neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy compared with chemotherapy. After propensity score matching, progression-free survival and overall survival were significantly prolonged with neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy compared with chemotherapy and compared with CCRT. The authors conclude that neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy is a safe and effective treatment strategy for LS-SCLC.
