Retrospective cohort study of durvalumab consolidation after chemoradiotherapy in real-world patients with stage III unresectable NSCLC
Dr. Meghan Mooradian
The phase 3 PACIFIC trial established durvalumab consolidation as the standard of care following chemoradiotherapy (CRT) for patients with unresectable stage III non-small cell lung cancer The retrospective SPOTLIGHT cohort study investigated the outcomes of this therapy in US clinical practice. In this cohort study, durvalumab after CRT was associated with longer median progression-free survival
as well as longer median overall survival as compared to no consolidation. The authors conclude that SPOTLIGHT supports the use of durvalumab consolidation after CRT as the standard of care for patients with unresectable stage III NSCLC.
