Retrospective cohort study of cobimetinib for Rosai-Dorfman disease
Dr. Ronald Go
Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a histiocytic neoplasm, with recent studies showing alteraions in the MAPK pathway in about 40% of patients. A retrospective cohort study at two US tertiary care centers evaluated the MEK inhibitor cobimetinib for RDD. The study found positive outcomes with cobimetinib among the patients with KRAS- or MEK-altered RDD. However, adverse events requiring dose modifications were common.
