Retrospective analysis of association of socioeconomics with recurrence and survival in non-metastatic colorectal cancer
Dr. Caroline Nordenvall
Retrospective analysis of the Swedish CRCBaSe investigated the association of income and education with recurrence and survival of 59.995 patients with stage I to III colorectal cancer between 2008 and 2021. Both five-year standardized cancer-specific survival and overall survival were significantly better in the groups with the highest income (2 years before diagnosis) and the highest education level (visual abstract).
