Regrouping of luminal B HER2-negative breast cancers

Patients with high recurrence risk luminal B breast cancer (BC) typically receive adjuvant chemotherapy in addition to standard hormone therapy. Considering the heterogeneity of luminal B BC, a more accurate classification model is urgently needed. A retrospective study at Tianjin Medical University (China) found that subdivision of luminal B according to the expression level of PR and Ki-67 index resulted in discrimination of subgroups with distinct disease-free survival.
