Real-world outcomes with sotorasib for KRAS G12C-mutated advanced non-small cell lung cancer: multicenter study in Italy

In the CodeBreak-200 study, sotorasib showed a significant improvement of progression-free survival and quality of life over docetaxel in patients with KRAS G12C-mutated advanced non-small lung cancer. Analysis of patients (n=196) receiving sotorasib for KRAS G12C-mutated aNSCLC in an Italian expanded access program provided real-world data. The ORR was 26% with median duration of response 5.7 months. The median progression-free and overall survival were 5.8 months (95% CI 5.0-6.5) and 8.2 months (6.3-9.9), respectively. Grade 3 or 4 treatment-related adverse events occurred in 16.5% of patients and TRAE-related discontinuation in 4.6% of patients. The authors conclude that these real-world data confirm the tolerability and efficacy of sotorasib in patients with KRAS G12C-mutated aNSCLC.
