Real-life analysis of use of ICIs for aNSCLC in France and Germany between 2015 and 2018
Prof. Frank Griesinger
In France and Germany immune checkpoint inhibitors have been available for locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC since 2015. Analysis of two national databases found that in both countries approximately 20% of all aNSCLC patients received pembrolizumab monotherapy as first-line treatment in 2018. In both countries use of ICIs (any line) increased from 2015-2018. Two-year overall survival from first-line initiation was 36.8% and 25.6% in the squamous cohorts and 36.5% and 30.8% in the non-squamous/other cohorts in France and Germany, respectively.
