Pretreatment metastatic growth rate predicts OS with anti-PD-1 for metastatic melanoma
Prof. Thomas Eigentler
A
study in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria found that among patients receiving anti PD-1 treatment for metastatic melanoma, pretreatment metastatic growth rate (MGR) of more than 3.9 mm per month was associated with worse overal survival. The prognostic impact of the MGR was independent of total tumor burden, diameter of the largest metastasis, number of prior lines of systemic treatment, LDH, and liver and brain metastasis.
