Predicting outcomes of metastatic nonseminomatous germ cell tumors

The International Germ Cell Cancer Collaborative Group Update Consortium published an update of the outcomes of patients in the three prognostic groups of metastatic nonseminomatous germ cell tumors treated with first-line chemotherapy. Compared with the original publication (1997) the OS improved significantly in all three groups. Additionally, the Consortium developed a novel prognostic model for PFS (A: without nonpulmonary visceral metastases; B: with NPVMs).
