A retrospective observational study using data from a US-wide de-identified database investigated real-world survival outcomes of patients receiving first-line treament for advanced urothelial carcinoma according to platinum eligibility. Platinum ineligibilty was defined based on ECOG performance status and creatine clearance rate. Median overall survival was 13.3 months (95% CI 12.4-14.8) in platinum eligible patients and 5.1 months (4.2-6.4) in platinum ineligible patients. Median progression-free survival was 5.9 months (95% CI 5.5-6.2) in platinum eligible patients and 3.4 months (2.9-4.0) in platinum ineligible patients.
