Phase 3b/4 CheckMate 920 trial of nivolumab plus ipilimumab for advanced non-clear cell renal cell carcinoma

The phase 3b-4 clinical CheckMate 920 evaluated the combination of nivolumab plus ipilimumab in patients with previously untreated advanced renal cell carcinoma and clinical features mostly excluded from phase 3 trials. The results of the cohort with non-clear cell renal cell carcinoma patients have now been published. The study showed that the combination had encouraging clinical activity. There were no new safety signals.
