Phase 3 trial of rezvilutamide plus ADT versus bicalutamide plus ADT for high-volume mHSPC
Prof. Dingwei Ye
Rezvilutamide is a novel androgen-receptor inhibitor, with proven antitumor activity in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. The phase 3 CHART study, at 72 hospitals in China, Poland, Czech Republic, and Bulgaria, evaluated rezvilutamide plus androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) versus bicalutamide plus ADT for high-volume, metastatic hormone-senstive prostate cancer (mHSPC). Radiographic progression-free survival
as well as overall survival were significantly improved with rezvilutamide plus ADT compared with bicalutamide plus ADT. The safety profile of rezvilutamide plus ADT was tolerable.
