Co-inhibition of the programmed death 1 and angiogenesis pathways is proposed as an effective anticancer strategy. A phase 2 trial at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (Guangzhou, China) evaluated the combination of sintilimab and anlotinib for recurrent or advanced endometrial cancer. The ORR and DCR were 73.9% (95% CI 51.6-89.9) and 91.3% (95% CI 72.0-98.9), respectively. With a median follow-up of 15.4 months, the median progression-free survival was not reached, and the probability of PFS > 12 months was 57.1% (95% CI 33.6-75.0). Treatment-related grade 3 or 4 adverse events were observed in 50% of patients.
