Phase 2 trial of QL1706 plus chemotherapy and bevacizumab for EGFR-mutant advanced non-small cell lung cancer after failure of EGFR-TKIs
Dr. Wenfeng Fang
Cohort 5 of the phase 2 study DUBHE-L-201 at Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou, China) evaluated the bifunctional anti-PD-1 and anti-CTLA-4 antibody QL1706 plus chemotherapy and bevacizumab for patients with EGFR-mutant aNSCLC after failure of EGFR-TKIs. At median 32.16 months duration of follow-up the median duration of response, progression-free survival, and overall survival were 11.33 months, 8.51 months, and 26.51 months, respectively. Grade ≥ 3 treatment-related adverse events occurred in 41.9% of the patients. The authors conclude that QL1706 combined with chemotherapy and bevacizumab resulted in favorable long-term prognosis and manageable safety among patients with EGFR-mutant aNSCLC after failure of EGFR-TKIs.
