Phase 2 study of SBRT and in situ virus gene therapy followed by pembrolizumab for metastatic triple-negative breast cancer

The phase 2 STOMP trial at Houston Methodist Cancer Center (Houston, TX) evaluated in situ virus gene therapy and SBRT followed by pembrolizumab for mTNBC. Clinical benefit rate was 21.4%. Patients with clinical benefit had a more than two-fold increased overall survival compared with patients without clinical benefit (median 14.7 months versus 6.6 months).
