Phase 2 study of pamiparib for advanced HER2-negative breast cancer in patients with germline BRCA mutations
Prof. Binghe Xu
Pamiparib is a novel small molecule inhibitor of PARP1/2. A multicenter phase 2 study in China evaluated pamiparib for locally advanced or metastatic HER2-negative breast cancer in patients with a BRCA mutation. The safety profile was acceptable with only 2.3% of patients discontinuing due to adverse events. The response rates
and the survival outcomes were encouraging.
