Phase 2 study of frontline hyper-CVAD followed by blinatumomab for Ph-negative B-cell ALL
Prof. Elias Jabbour
Blinatumomab is effective in relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia and results in high rates of minimal residual disease negativity, A phase 2 study at MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX) evaluated incorporation of blinatumomab into front-line therapy for Ph-negative B-cel ALL. The therapy resulted in encouraging long-term survival outcomes. One of 38 patients discontinuated therapy because of treatment-related toxicity.
