Phase 1 study of regorafenib, ipilimumab, and nivolumab for microsatellite stable colorectal cancer with progression after chemotherapy
Dr. Marwan Fakih
Anti-PD-1 monotherapy was ineffective in patients with microsatellite stable colorectal cancer (MSS CRC), including those with PD-L1 positive tumors. A phase 1 trial at City of Hope (Duarte, CA) found that among patients with microsatellite stable colorectal cancer after progression on chemotherapy, the combination of regorafenib, ipilimumab, and nivolumab was tolerated and showed clinical activity, especially in patients without liver metastases.
