PET-guided omission of consolidation radiotherapy for early stage unfavorable Hodgkin lymphoma

The multicenter phase 3 HD17 study by the German Hodgkin Study Group found that in patients with newly diagnosed early-stage unfavorable Hodgkin lymphoma PET4-negativity after treatment with 2 + 2 chemotherapy allows omission of consolidation radiotherapy without a clinically relevant loss of efficacy.
