Pembrolizumab in patients with tumors with high tumor mutational burden: results from the TAPUR Study
Dr. Pam Mangat
The Targeted Agent and Profiling Utilization Registry (TAPUR) Study evaluates the safety and efficacy of anticancer drugs outside their approved indications when matched to specific genomic alterations in tumors of patients with advanced cancer. The activity of pembrolizumab was evaluated in pretreated patients with multiple tumor types with high tumor mutational burden (HTMB; ≥ 9 mutations per megabase) and a lack of standard treatment options. Pembrolizumab had antitumor actvitity for HTMB colorectal cancer and other cancers.
