Overall survival with ivosidenib for advanced cholangiocarcinoma with IDH1 mutation

Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) variations occur in up to approximately 20% of patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. In the ClarIDHy trial, progression-free survival these patients was significantly improved with ivosidenib versus placebo. Final overall survival results of the study have now been published. Ivosidenib was well tolerated and resulted in OS benefit compared with placebo.
