Overall survival and response with nivolumab and relatlimab for advanced melanoma

The multinational phase 2-3 RELATIVITY-047 trial randomized advanced melanoma patients 1:1 to relatlimab (anti-LAG-3) plus nivolumab (anti-PD-1) versus nivolumab alone. At a median follow-up of 19.3 months, median PFS, but not median OS, was significantly longer with the combination than with nivolumab monotherapy. ORRs were 43.1% versus 32.6%. Grade 3 or 4 TRAEs were observed in 21.1% of patients treated with relatlimab plus nivolumab versus 11.1% of patients treated with nivolumab.
