Persistence or recurrence of large B-cell lymphoma after CD19-CAR-T is common, yet data guiding management are limited. A report on a patient series of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York) described outcomes and features following CAR-T treatment failure. The authors conclude that survival was poor, though novel agents such as polatuzumab and lenalidomide may hold promise.
