Outcomes of breast cancer patients with low hormone receptor positivity

A study in Germany compared breast cancer patients with HR low positive tumors (expression 1-9%) versus patients with HR negative tumors versus patients with HR strongly positive tumors (≥ 10%). In the HER2 negative cohort, outcome of HR low positive tumors was similar to outcome of HR negative tumors. In the HER2-positive cohort no statistically significant differences between the three HR-groups were observed. Patients with HR low/HER2-negative could be regarded and treated similarly to patients with TNBC.
