Outcomes after nonresponse and relapse post-tisagenlecleucel for B-cell ALL in children, adolescents, and young adults
Dr. Liora Schultz
Nonresponse and relapse after CAR T-cell therapy for B-cell ALL in the real-world setting is seen in 15% and 37% of patients, respectively. A multicenter retrospective study investigated the outcomes after nonresponse and post-tisagenlecleucel relapse in children, adolescents, and young adults with B-cell ALL. The OS at 12 months in nonresponders was 19%. In the post-tisagenlecleucel setting, the OS at 12 months after relapse was 52%. CD19-negative relapse was associated with decreased survival outcomes compared with CD19-positive relapse.
