Network meta-analysis of five trials with a total of 4,360 participants compared apalutamide, enzalutamide, darolutamide and abiraterone acetate as treatments for nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. The authors conclude that darolutamide offered optimal efficacy and safety. Abiraterone acetate may offer comparable metastasis-free survival benefit, with cost-saving from generic availability.
