The multinational phase 3 inMIND trial randomized patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma (R/R FL) to tafasitamab (anti-CD19 mAb) or placebo, both added to lenalidomide and rituximab. The primary endpoint was investigator assessed progression-free survival. With median duration of follow-up of 14.1 months, the median PFS was 22.4 months in the tafasitamab group versus 13.9 months in the placebo group (HR 0.43; p<0.0001). Overall survival were immature, but there was a trend favoring tafasitamab (HR 0.59; 95% CI 0.31-1.13). A similar rate of treament-emergent adverse events was seen with tafasitamab and placebo. The authors conclude that addition of tafasitamab to lenalidomide and rituximab resulted in significant and clinically meaningful improvement in PFS.
