Multinational phase 3 trial of sotorasib versus docetaxel for previously treated KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer
Prof. Luis Paz-Ares
Sotorasib is a specific and irreversible inhibitor of the KRAS G12C protein. The phase 3 CodeBreak 200 trial, at 148 centers in 22 countries compared sotorasib versus standard docetaxel in patients with previously treated advanced KRAS G12C-mutated NSCLC. Sotorasib versus docetaxel resulted in significantly longer progression-free survival (median, 5.6 months versus 4.5 months; HR 0.66; p=0.0017) with a more favorable safety profile.
