Multinational phase 3 trial of second-line T-DXd versus ramucirumab-paclitaxel in HER2-positive metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma

The multinational phase 3 DESTINY-Gastric04 trial found that in HER2-positive metastatic gastric cancer progressing on trastuzumab-based therapy, second-line trastuzumab deruxtecan led to longer survival and better response than ramucirumab plus paclitaxel. Adverse events were common in both groups.
