Multinational phase 3 study of lurbinectedin plus doxorubicin for relapsed small-cell lung cancer

Lurbinectedin is a selective inhibitor of oncogenic transcription. The multinational phase 3 ATLANTIS trial found that among patients with relapsed small-cell lung cancer after platinum-based chemotherapy, second-line combination of lurbinectedin and doxorubicin compared with physician’s choice of control therapy did not improve overall survival but had a better hematological safety profile.
