Standard therapy for advanced endometrial cancer after failure of platinum-based chemotherapy remains unclear. The multinational phase 3 KEYNOTE-775 trial randomized patients with advanced endometrial cancer after at least one platinum-based regimen to lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab or chemotherapy of the treating physician’s choice. The progression-free survival and overall survival were improved with lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab compared with chemotherapy, both in the pMMR population and in the overall population. Adverse events of grade 3 or higher occurred in 88.9% of the lenvatinib-pembrolizumab group and 72.7% of the chemotherapy group.
