Multinational phase 2 trial of sunvozertinib for platinum-pretreated non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations

The multinational phase 2 WU-KONG1B trial evaluated the novel EGFR TKI sunvozertinib among patients with platinum-pretreated advanced NSCLC with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations. Sunvozertinib demonstrated robust activity at 200 mg and 300 mg once daily. In patients with baseline brain metastasis or previous amivantamab treatment, numerically higher objective response rate with 300 mg once daily was noted. The safety profile of sunvozertinib was more favorable at 200 mg than at 300 mg once daily.
