Multinational phase 2 trial of patritumab deruxtecan for EGFR-mutated advanced NSCLC after EGFR-TKI and platinum-based chemotherapy
Dr. Helena Yu
Patritumab deruxtecan (HER3-DXd) is an antibody-drug conjugate consisting of a monoclonal antibody to HER3 attached to a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload. The multinational phase 2 HERTHENA-Lung01 trial evaluated HER3-DXd for advanced EGFR-mutated NSCLC in patients who previously received EGFR-TKI and platinum-based chemotherapy. HER3-DXd had clinically meaningful efficacy
with durable responses, including in CNS metastases. The safety profile was manageable and tolerable.
