Mosunetuzumab is a CD20 x CD3 T-cell-engaging bispecific monoclonal antibody that redirects T cells to eliminate malignant B cells. A multinational phase 2 study evaluated safety and anti-tumor activity of fixed-duration mosunetuzumab in patients with follicular lymphoma who had received two or more previous lines of therapy. Mosunetuzumab induced complete response in 60.0% (95% CI 49,1-70.2) of patients. Serious adverse events occurred in 47% of patients. No grade 5 adverse event occurred. The authors conclude that fixed-duration mosunetuzumab had a favorable safety profile and induced high rates of complete remission in patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma.
