Multinational phase 2-3 study of addition of relatlimab to nivolumab for untreated advanced melanoma

LAG-3 and PD-1 are distinct immune checkpoints that contribute to T-cel exhaustion. Relatlimab and nivolumab are inhibitors of LAG-3 and PD-1, respectively. The multinational phase 2-3 study RELATIVITY-047 found that the combination of relatlimab and nivolumab provided greater PFS benefit than nivolumab alone among patients with previously untreated advanced melanoma.
