Multinational phase 1-2a trial of nivolumab plus relatlimab for advanced melanoma after progression on anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 therapy

The multinational phase 1-2a RELATIVITY-020 trial part D evaluated the combination of nivolumab (anti-PD-1) and relatlimab (anti-LAG-3) for advanced melanoma after progression on anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 therapy. The safety profile was manageable, with no treatment-related deaths. Objective response rate by blinded independent central review ranged from 9.2% to 12.0% across study cohorts. Responses were durable; percentages of responders who remained in response at 6 months rangede from 84.6% to 92.3%. The progression-free survival rates at 6 months ranged from 27.7% (95% CI 20.5-35.4) to 29.1% (95% CI 24.2-34.1) across study cohorts.
