Tissue factor is highly expressed in cervical carcinoma, and can be targeted by the antibody-drug conjugated tisotumab vedotin (TV). Single-agent TV is currently approved for pretreated recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer (R/M CC). The multinational phase 1-2 innovaTV 205 trial found that among R/M CC patients,TV in combination with either carboplatin or bevcizumab or pembrolizumab had encouraging antitumor activity and manageable safety, both in first and later lines. The authors conclude that these results lay the groundwork for future randomized explorations of combinations using TV.
