Multinational cohort study of adjuvant platinum-based chemotherapy after radical resection of adrenocortical carcinoma

After radical resection, patients with adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) frequently experience recurrence. Effective adjuvant treatments are urgently needed. A multinational study evaluated adjuvant platinum-based chemotherapy after radical resection of ACC. The study found that adjuvant platinum-based chemotherapy was associated with prolonged recurrence-free and overall survival.
