Multicenter trial of trastuzumab deruxtecan for HER2-expressing advanced or recurrent uterine carcinosarcoma

Patients with advanced or recurrent uterine carcinosarcoma (A/R UCS) have limited treatment options. The multicenter STATICE trial in Japan evaluated the HER2-targeting antibody-drug conjugate trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) for HER2-expressing A/R UCS. Patients were recruted in groups with high (IHC score ≥ 2) or low (IHC score=1) HER2-expressing UCS. T-DXd had efficacy in both groups. The safety profile of T-DXd was generally consistent with that previously reported. Toxicities were manageable with appropriate monitoring and treatment.
