Multicenter retrospective study of neoadjuvant treatment followed by metastasectomy in dMMR/MSI metastatic colorectal cancer
Dr. Christelle de la Fouchardière
A multicenter retrospective study in France found that among patients with dMMR/MSI metastatic colorectal cancer, neoadjuvant treatment before metastasectomy resulted in pathological complete response rate of 16.1%, comparable to what has been reported for patients with pMMR/MSS mCRC. Neoadjuvant immunotherapy resulted in higher pCR rate compared with neoadjuvant chemotherapy with or without targeted therapy. The median RFS and OS were 20.2 months and not reached, respectively.
