Multicenter retrospective study of anti-PD-1 consolidation in patients with high risk of relapse after autoSCT for Hodgkin lymphoma
Prof. Antonio Pinto
Consolidation therapy is an emerging strategy for patients with relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphoma (RR-HL) at high risk of failing salvage autologous stem cell transplantation (autoHSCT). A multicenter retrospective study in Italy evaluated anti-PD-1 consolidation for these patients. At a median follow-up of 25.8 months post-autoSCT the median progression-free survival was 42.6 months, with 2-years PFS and overall survival rates 79% and 87%, respectively. The authors conclude that post-autoSCT consolidation with anti-PD-1 is feasible and effective.
