Multicenter retrospective study of abemaciclib plus endocrine therapy for HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced/metastatic breast cancer

Abemaciclib plus endocrine therapy is considered standard of care for HR-positive/HER2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer (HR+ HER- aBC) based on results of the phase 3 studies MONARCH 2 and MONARCH 3. A multicenter retrospective study in the UK evaluated this treatment in real world. The objective response rate was 28.6% and the disease control rate was 88.2%. The median time to progression was not reached, 27.7 months, and 19.3 months, respectively for patients who received abemaciclib plus endocrine therapy in first, second, and third line.
