Multicenter phase 3 trial of busulfan-fludarabine versus busulfan-cyclophosphamide for AML undergoing haplo-HCT

The busulfan plus fludarabine (BuFlu) conditioning regimen has lower transplant-related mortality (TRM) than busulfan plus cyclophosphamide (BuCy) in HLA-matched transplantation for AML. A multicenter phase 3 trial in China compared BuFlu versus BuCy conditioning for HLA-haploidentical transplantation (haplo-HCT). The study found that BuFlu had lower TRM and lower regimen-related toxicity compared with BuCy.
