Multicenter phase 3 study of fosnetupitant versus fosaprepitant for prevention of CINV

The multicenter phase 3 CONSOLE study in Japan compared fosnetupitant (FosNTP) versus fosaprepitant (FosAPR) for the prevention of cisplatin-based chemotherapy-induced nausea an vomiting (CINV). FosNTP was noninferior to FosAPR for prevention of CINV and was associated with a significantly lower incidence of injection site reactions (0.3% versus 3.6%; p<0.001).
