Multicenter phase 2b study of furmonertinib for advanced EGFR T790M mutated NSCLC

A phase 2b study at 46 hospitals in China evaluated furmonertinib (AST2818) for advanced NSCLC with EGFR T790M mutation. Furmonertinib had promising efficacy, with objective response in 163 of 220 patients (74%; 95% CI 68-80). The safety profile was acceptable. Thirteen months after inclusion of the last patient, 32% of the patients remained on treatment.
